Cambridge Railway Station Seen From The Air

Cambridge's main railway station, situated at the top of Station Road, is quite often a very busy place, full of commuters coming and going on their way into London or the north of England or arriving into Cambridge.
We took this drone photo while carrying out a drone survey on a building opposite. It shows it on a quiet Sunday morning with very little commuters. Recently modernised, the station now boasts a purpose built cycle parking facility with a capacity of 2,850 spaces.

This is why Drone Roof Surveys can be worth their weight in gold... Unseen defects, such as the one identified above the main entrance to this school reception, have the potential to be incredibly dangerous. If you are building manager and have been putting off assessing your high-level structures due to potential cost or access complications, there is a fast, safe and extremely cost-effective alternative.
